Information about our Holiday Home

Check-in

We will be there in person to give you the keys upon arrival. You may check in from 3:00 p.m. If you will be arriving much later, please do let us know by phone or e-mail.

Car / Bicycles

You can park your car in the courtyard directly in front of the house. There are also some public parking spaces behind the house in case you should come with several cars. You can store your bicycles in our barn.

Check-out

On the day of departure, we ask that you please check out by 11:00 a.m., so that we have enough time to prepare the house for the next guests.

Please leave the house clean upon departure. Please do the dishes and empty the bins.

If something gets broken, that can usually be covered by insurance. Please do understand, however, that we will have to charge for damage of larger items as well as for lost keys.

Wifi

Internet via WiFi will, of course, be available free of charge. Just ask us for the password.

Shopping

In Morbach, just 4 kilometres away, you will find grocery stores including Rewe, Aldi, Lidl, and Wasgau, as well as local bakeries and butchers and a wide range of other retail shops. You can also find cash machines for various banks there.

Laundry

On the ground floor, there is a utility room, where you can use the washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board free of charge. Please handle the devices with care.

Rubbish

You will find rubbish bins in our barn. The waste is separated into paper, other recyclables (yellow sacks), and residual waste. Glass should be taken to the container at the end of the Eulengasse Street in Hundheim or at Aldi and Lidl in Morbach.

Heating

The holiday home has a modern, regenerative wood pellet heating system that compensates for the weather. You can regulate the room temperatures by using the radiator valves.

Valuables

In the utility room, you will find a lockable wall safe for your valuables. Please understand that we cannot assume any liability for lost items.

Smoking

You are welcome to smoke in the outdoor sitting area and in the garden, but please do NOT smoke inside the holiday home. If you fail to follow this rule, we will have to charge you for the extra cleaning costs.

Cancellations

For reservations and changes, a cancellation up to 10 days before the start of the service period (planned arrival) is free of charge. In the event of a later cancellation or if the guest does not show up, 80% of the contractually agreed price will be charged as a cancellation fee.

Pets

Unfortunately, we cannot welcome your pets into our holiday home.
