Casa Maria is your home away from home

This holiday home belonging to the Winkel family is classified with 5 stars and one of the oldest houses in the Hunsrück village of Hundheim near Morbach. The rustic vaulted cellar dates back to the 17th century. This former farmhouse has been in the family for generations and was lovingly renovated in 2017-18. The renovation was carried out by regional craftsmen paying special attention to ecological aspects and the involvement of regional craftsmen. For example, each of the beds is unique, made of local wood by a local carpenter.

The holiday home now features bright, modern rooms, including two double and one single bedrooms, with enough room for 5 people. The rooms are bright, cosy, and combine old charm with modern comforts. The two bathrooms were also extensively renovated and equipped with walk-in showers and a spacious bathtub. In addition, the home features a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a beautiful garden with outdoor seating and a kettle grill.

Bed linens and towels are, of course, included in the price. You can park your car directly adjacent to the house and store your bicycles in the barn.
